Elephants; buffalos; cheetahs; leopards; wild dogs; giraffes and antelopes are the main guests at this 350 000 acre private reserve. Nor is it uncommon to happen upon a hippopotamuskilling Selinda lion- the region is renowned for the opportunities it offers to observe predators; and indeed the 300 species of bird to which it is home. The camp; which overlooks the Zibadianja Lagoon; at the source of the Savute Channel; was created by two enthusiasts; renowned National Geographic photographers and documentary producers; who wanted to protect this wilderness while also wishing to share it with others. It is designed with the environment in mind; with large; magnificently-appointed tents; the traditional style of which is reminiscent of the very first safaris. .
